Another site cut and ready for winter, cutting back a residential dog-walking field with help from JH Services. This site came with plenty of challenges — uneven ground and multiple obstacles — but using a compact flail, compact hedge cutter and handheld equipment we were able to leave the area with a clean, tidy finish. We’re pleased to share that this is another site we’ll be managing moving forward. It will receive both a spring and winter cut, and we’ll also be leaving selected areas to grow wild. These pockets and corridors of natural habitat provide vital food, shelter, and breeding spaces for insects, birds, hares, and small mammals. These harrows are fully galvanised, ensuring a long service life, and come with two front level bars for effective manure and mole hill levelling and incorporating. Furthermore, we are integrating a seeder unit onto this machine, which will enable us to spread grass seed all in one pass.
